Description
  • Correspondence from Paul Toth, Chairman, AAPA Continuing Education Committee, notes that at recent Academy Board of Directors' meeting held in Washington, DC, November 3 & 4, 1973, the Board voted unanimously to implement and enforce its guidelines for Continuing Medical Education. The letter states that current membership "must accrue 90 hours of credit before the anniversary date for payment of dues in 1977." As one became a senior member of the Academy, i.e., by 1977, 150 hours of continuing medical education would need to be required over a three year period. The guidelines are divided into basic categories of continuing medical education.
