  • Pamphlet produced in 1972 by the Department of Community Health Sciences, Duke University School of Medicine, to provide individuals information about how hospitals and physicians can use physician's associates to delivery health care services in inpatient and ambulatory care settings. The pamphlet discusses the eligibility of PA for clinical privileges in the hospital, what functions a PA can perform in the hospital, and provides a list of sample work assignments. The pamphlet is one in a series of five informational pamphlets produced by the Duke PA Program to answer various questions about physician assistants.
