Description |
- The search was developed and conducted by a professional medical librarian in consultation with the author team and included a mix of keywords and subject headings representing epileptogenic zones, localization, stereo-electroencephalography, and machine learning. The searches were independently peer reviewed by another librarian using a modified PRESS Checklist (McGowan). Search hedges or database filters were used to remove publication types such as editorials, letters, books, book chapter, essays, and comments as was appropriate for each database. Searches were conducted in MEDLINE via PubMed, Embase via Elsevier, and Web of Science via Clarivate. The searches were executed on October 9th, 2023 and found 2,136 unique citations. Complete reproducible search strategies, including search filters, for all databases are detailed in the Supplementary Materials. All citations were imported into Covidence, a systematic review screening software, which also removed the initial duplicates from the dataset.
