Item Description

Description	Dr. Hammond joined the Duke University School of Medicine faculty in 1968. He served as chief of the Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology from 1970 to 1980. In 1980 he became chair of the Dept. of Obstetrics and Gynecology, where he served until becoming Professor Emeritus in 2002.
