Description	Pickrell was a professor of plastic surgery from 1944 to 1981 and chief of the Division of Plastic Surgery from 1944 to 1975. During World War II, Pickrell was a consultant in chemical warfare at Edgewood Arsenal and assisted with the program of wartime graduate medical meetings for the armed forces.
