Description	Dr. Barton Haynes in laboratory, seated at microcope. Haynes is a Frederic M. Hanes professor of medicine, immunology, and global health. He is also the director of the Duke Human Vaccine Institute and the Center for HIV-AIDS Vaccine Immunology. He served as the Chair of the Department of Medicine from 1995 to 2003.
