Description	This oral history interview was conducted with Dr. Bruce Schirmer on November 30, 2018 by Dr. Justin Barr as part of the Dr. Sabiston Oral History Program. Schirmer discusses his experiences at Duke University School of Medicine and the Department of Surgery, his time as a practicing doctor at Fort Belknap Indian Reservation, his experiences with Sabiston, working in Dr. R. Scott Jones' lab, clinical experience, and key mentors at Duke.
