- This study guide accompanied film produced by the Veterans Administration Medical Media Network at Duke University in 1970-71 titled "Status Report: The Physician's Assistant." The study guide contains pre and post tests, a description of points of interest noted in the film including academic instructions, utilization, legal implications and references. It uses the National Academy of Sciences classification of physician assistants as type A, B or C. It appears that one could obtain continuing medical education (postgraduate) credits for viewing the film and completing the post test and evaluation form included in the study guide.
