Description
  • This letter written by Eugene Beau Davis, member of the Georgia Association of Physician's Assistants Board of Directors, to D. Mittman on August 27, 1976, addresses Mr. Mittman's inquiry about the political implications of a Carter presidential victory in November. Davis notes that while Carter was governor, PA enabling legislation was enacted and impetus was generated to start a PA program at the Medical College of Georgia, a state-operated school. He closes by saying that "Mr. Carter will, in all probability, be entirely supportive of the PA in his overall plans concerning health care delivery for the nation."
