- This correspondence consist of three letters exchanged between David Mittman, president-elect of the NY State Society of PAs, and David Glazer, executive director, NCCPA about eligibility and recertification issues. The letters consist of: Mittman to Glazer, 26 June 1979; Glazer to Mittman, 3 July 1979; and Glazer to Mittman, 2 August 1979. The specific issues addressed and defended are: (1) cost of the 1979 examination, (2) allowing NPs and informally trained PAs to continue to take the examination and (3) the method for recertifying PAs - take home recertification examination versus on-site written recertification examination. Mr. Glazer defends the NCCPA positions citing past policy and communications.
