Description	Cover page from the first issue of Perspective on Physician Assistant Education : the official journal of the Association of Physician Assistant Programs, released as Winter 1998;9 (no. 1). The purpose of the journal is to advance PA education by publishing scholarly manuscripts germane to PA educators and to provide a forum to share ideas and innovations that will enhance the education of PA students. After eight years as a newsletter, the journal evolved as a peer-reviewed publication for PA educators.
