  • This letter from Dr. William Anlyan, Dean, School of Medicine, Duke University, dated February 1, 1966 requests eleven individuals to serve on an ad hoc committee to "explore the possible types of models of physicians' assistants who may be trained at the Medical Center. He asked Dr. Stead to chair the group with Jim Mau serving as recording secretary.
