Description	This article appearing in the March 1974 issue of The National Board Examiner describes the examination administered to PAs on December 12, 1973. It provides demographic data on the 880 candidates who took the examination and provides statistics on the examination, i.e., the overall reliability of the examination, mean degree of difficulty and other parameters. Field studies were being conducted to assess physical examination and clinical procedures skills.
