Description |
- This letter was written by Thomas Godkins, president of the American Academy of Physicians' Associates, on October 3, 1972 to Gregory Gilreath, president of the American College of Physicians' Assistants. The purpose of the letter was to find time for him and Bill Stanhope to meet with the College's Board of Directors in Cincinnati . Both groups had met with representatives of the American Medical Association (AMA) and the outcomes of the meetings were similar. Godkins mentions the need for the Academy to reconsider "how inclusive " it should be; opening the door for the two organizations to merge.
