Sir William Osler to Wilburt C. Davison

Dear Davison,
Thanks for your nice letter received today, which has by far the most satisfactory account we have had of Miss R. Do all you can to prevent an early marriage. He will have nothing in which to support a wife as his father is a determined man. Later I am sure he could be won over & all will be well. Your letter will be most helpful. To marry now would wreck his career I am sure

and in a couple of years - or shorter - all should be well. Love to you all.
Wm Osler
