Description	Robert Randolph Jones was a member of the original faculty of the School of Medicine and Duke Hospital. He served as house staff and associate professor of surgery from 1930 to 1941. In 1941, he was fatally shot by a psychiatric patient who was undergoing treatment at Duke Hospital.
