Your friends came along one day not long ago - Dr. Moore - I knew the mother before & the Aunt[?] Miss Brown. It was nice to see them & to hear from you. All well here. Dr Cushing was here six weeks working on the

Biography and has left his secretary to finish it - a heavy job. The Catalogue is not finished yet. Bob Emmons is doing six months in the Infirmary & loves it - he is a most enthusiastic fellow over medicine - Alas, Sally is very poorly - Oh, if she would only die - it would be such a mercy. She can't live in England, and at present is in Italy - it is dreadful. Very much love. love to you your family
