Description
  • This packet contains a letter from Dr. E.W. Furgurson, general practitioner, Plymouth, North Carolina, to Dr. W.C. Davison, with minutes from the November 18, 1967 conference continuing discussion on how to solve the plight of small communities' needs for medical workers. The letter mentions Paul Moson, a PA student from Duke, helping in the Plymouth Clinic. It also states that Mr. J.C. Mau, Mrs. Kay Andreoli and Miss Ingels visited the clinic on December 6th to follow up on the PA being sent there. The minutes discuss in detail how the PA is "working out" in the clinic. He was doing well, but it would be better if a PA could be recruited to remain in the clinic full-time who, in turn, would teach other PAs as they rotated through the clinic.
