Description
  • This publication contains a series of three articles that appeared in The Medical Post, a newspaper for the Canadian medical profession, during 1970. The titles and dates of the articles are: (1) The case for the physician associate - August 25, 1970; (2) A chance to upgrade the nurse's role - September 8, 1970; and (3) Will a new aide fit Canadian medicine? - September 22, 1970. The articles were written by Milan Korcok, the features editor for the Medical Post. "We feel the series will make a solid contribution to the problem of getting more help for the physician and by cutting through the fuzzy thinking which has added to the confusion" writes the editor.
