Description
  • This letter from Detmer and the AMA indicates the AMA's interest in soliciting as a full collaborating member "a physician's assistant organization that is broadly representative of assistants to primary care physicians". Detmer also notes that "In the event a merger does not occur, the Joint Review Committee would proceed to appoint three physician's assistants to the Committee as members-at-large, without regard to their affiliation with professional organizations". A roster and chart of collaborative relationships for the committee are included.
