The advertisement includes a photograph of a young African-American male who had served as a military corpsmen in Vietnam washing the windshield of a car in a service station. The text accompanying the picture states that " back in civilian life, he's pumping gas. Nothing wrong with that, of course. Except for the terrible waste of his training."
