Description
  • Low back pain (LBP) is a prevalent musculoskeletal condition, but little is known about the characteristics of individuals transitioning from acute to chronic states. This transition can significantly reduce quality of life. The BACk Study aims to identify risk phenotypes for individuals transitioning from acute to chronic LBP. The phenotypes include but are not limited to biological, psychological, social and sleep factors (which is the main focus of this presentation). A brief literature review on LBP and its role on sleep qualities was also conducted to identify existing knowledge or unanswered questions.
