Description
  • A MEDEX graduate, Steve Linde, writes to Thomas R. Godkins, president of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, on January 19, 1972 to thank Godkins for sending him "all the good information." Linde mentions that he has been trying to organize MEDEX graduates nationally. He is interested in attending the April Conference and plans to encourage other Medex graduates to do likewise. Linde wonders if there is a need to form another organization since the Academy and College are planning to combine and it "seems to me to be simply to do the same things that you are doing now but have some control and influence over our destiny." He closes by asking Godkins to share his feelings on what the Medex role might be in his organization, i.e. the Academy.
