Description
  • In his memo dated September 21, 1973. Thomas Piemme, president of the APAP, calls a formal special meeting of the APAP on the afternoon of October 12, 1973 to adopt revision of the Association's by-laws. This is necessary to gain IRS approval as a tax exempt organization opening the way for the Association to receive funding from the Robert Wood Foundation, the van Ameriguen Foundation, and the Ittleson Family Foundation. Dr. Piemme elaborates on need for major changes in the by-laws, notes that the Registry has been dropped from the by-laws and asked member programs to adopt the revised by-laws that are attached to the memorandum.
