Description	Intermittent fasting is a process of planned and timed feeding restriction which can be utilized alone or in combination with a caloric deficit. Cardiovascular disease (CVD) refers to a number of conditions relating to the heart and blood vessels. A major factor that impacts CVD risk is diet. This research explores the role of fasting in the treatment and prevention of cardiovascular disease.
