  • This packet of materials provides an overview of the PA curriculum that was in place in 1968 at Duke University. The curriculum was developed under the "guidance of an Ad Hoc Committee appointed by the Vice Provost." The twenty-four month curriculum was divided into a preclinical and clinical phase. Course descriptions are provided, faculty named and hours cited. Six clinical service units within the Duke Hospital are listed as teaching sites for the seventeen months clinical phase. A patient flow sheet is attached and biographical sketches are provided for students enrolled in the class of 1969.
