The Library Council

• Provides input into services, programs and policy decisions.
• Serves as discussion and problem-solving forum for specific issues within units/service areas.
• Updates Library leadership on issues and problems.
• Shares information between units/service areas.
• Identifies areas of collaboration.
• Sets priorities for Library activities and resources.
• Implements new initiatives and services.
• Monitors developments in the Library, information technology, health education, and health care fields, and identify possible impact on Library and its services.
